Georgia Summer Senior Session Makeup Tips
1. Prep your skin!
You'll want to start with a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer to prevent your skin from getting too oily during the hot Georgia summer months. We know the Georgia heat is no joke!
2. Use primer!
Use a primer before applying makeup to help your makeup last longer and reduce the risk of it melting or smudging under the sometimes blazing Georgia sun.
3. No heavy foundations!
Opt for a lightweight foundation or tinted moisturizer that won't feel heavy on your skin. Use a damp beauty sponge or brush to blend it in for a natural, skin-like finish.
4. Waterproof everything!
Use a waterproof mascara and eyeliner to prevent smudging and running in the heat and humidity.
5. Add color to your skin!
Use a bronzer or a subtle blush to add a touch of color to your cheeks and to avoid looking washed out underneath the Georgia summer sun.
6. Keep your lips moisturized!
Use a lip balm or gloss with SPF to protect your lips from the sun's harmful rays, and also to keep them moisturized and hydrated.
7. Set your makeup after every few steps!
Use a setting powder or spray to help set your makeup in place and keep it looking fresh throughout the day.
8. Have something on hand to keep you looking fresh!
Keep a few blotting papers or a mattifying powder in your bag to touch up your makeup during the day.
9. Remember to remove it at the end of the day!
Lastly, make sure to remove your makeup properly at the end of the day, to avoid clogged pores and breakouts. Use a gentle makeup remover or a cleansing oil, and follow up with a cleanser. Your future self will thank you ;)
