When it comes to displaying senior portraits in your home they can be used just about anywhere!  Don't have wall space?  Or maybe you don't think you do? ;)

I'm gonna help you think outside the box. Mix up your gallery wrapped canvases, framed wall portraits and small prints to create some interest.  Here's a few other ideas on how to decorate with portraits around your home.

Mantles, Ledges & Bookshelves

Small prints are fun to prop up on a mantle or ledge.  Add one to a matted frame that matches your decor and it's a perfect addition to any room.

Special places you spend a lot of time

Moms who want little reminders of their "babies" tend to add some senior pictures to bathroom counters, dressing areas, closets or even the laundry room.  Place a portrait in an area you spend a lot of time each day to help brighten your day :)

Foyers

Foyers are perfect places to show off your kiddos.  Most guests will enter through the front door and gorgeous portraits will be the first thing they notice.  There's nothing like having your kids as the center of the conversation, right?!

Over the fireplace

A popular place to hang later wall portraits is over the fireplace.  This is sometimes reserved for a family portrait, but if you have just one child (or a favorite, haha) you could definitely get away with it.  Some homes have multiple fireplaces. This gives the perfect opportunity to display a beautiful portrait of your child over one and is a great focal point in a room.

Bedside and sofa tables

Do you have some unique or artistic images that go with the look and feel of a bedroom or formal living room?  Adding a small collection of images will add interest and conversation starters for guests.

Small framed prints look great on side tables alone or even up on an easel to give them more height.  When you want to add a personal touch to a room this is a great way to accomplish it.

Special occasions like holidays and grad parties

You don't need Christmas images to decorate for Christmas!  We encourage our seniors to wear simple and neutral colors (for at least one outfit) just for this reason.  It's easier to display images with a neutral palette.

Be sure to set some fun images out for graduation parties and open houses to show off their personality!

Getting creative with where to display senior portraits in your home can be fun!  I hope these ideas gave you a little inspiration.  Get them out of the boxes, off of the usb drives and decorate with prints!  If you're in Forsyth County, Georgia or the greater Atlanta area we would love to help you with that :)
